A guide to care questions / Care options
Should I have a visit in person or online?
Bring the concern that prompted the search: where it hurts, what changed and what you want to get back to.
An in-person visit or licensed telehealth
A visit in a room gives you a place to discuss the problem and ask about an examination.
Describe the change in your own words. Bring any records you already have, along with the claim you want checked.
- What needs to be assessed before discussing a treatment?
- Which options fit the problem, and why?
- What would change the plan or call for a return visit?
Licensed telehealth
Medical-board guidance sets the same expectations for assessing and caring for a problem online as it does for a visit in a room.
The guidance calls for tests, an in-person examination or a referral when the problem needs them.
HHS guidance checked on 26 September 2026 says the professional must be licensed or otherwise permitted to practise where the patient is located.
Before the visit, give your expected location to the service and ask about care in that state.

A medical board’s public records show a doctor’s licence status and public disciplinary history.
A record without public discipline does not grade the quality of care.
The U.S. approval check from September 2026 found no approved TB-500 product.
Ask the clinician whether they can assess your problem or whether you need another type of doctor.
Ask them to explain the care options after checking your concern.
